Conway Regional's Home Health Service, known as HomeCare, offers comprehensive care for patients at home. The HomeCare team includes physicians, nurses, therapists, nursing assistants, secretaries, and support staff dedicated to your recovery from illness or disability.
To qualify for HomeCare, your condition must require one or more of the following services: skilled nursing, physical therapy, or speech therapy.
A HomeCare representative will explain any eligibility requirements established by your insurer. In most cases, your physician must order home care and establish a treatment plan. You must meet any and all requirements established by the payer of services (Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance companies).
HomeCare does not include private-duty (continuous care); most medications and biologicals; custodial care; personal care items; care not deemed medically necessary by a physician; housekeeping; meal preparation; laundry; or care for a patient's children, spouse or house guests.
When ordered by your physician, Conway Regional HomeCare can arrange for services such as:
